In-Office Procedures 

Azalea City Physicians for Women offers our patients a variety of in-office procedures to address female health conditions.  The following is a list of our in-office procedures:

• LEEP: (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) A therapeutic surgical procedure performed on the cervix to remove certain abnormal cells

• Colposcopy: A microscopic exam of the cervix performed when a PAP test shows abnormal cells or changes

• Cystoscopy: A test that allows the physician to look at the interior lining of the bladder and the urethra

• Essure: A permanent birth control procedure

• IUD (Intrauterine Device): A form of birth control inserted into the uterus
