Glenn Gallaspy III, M.D.

Dr. Glenn Gallaspy III is a Mobile native who graduated from St. Paul’s Episcopal School. He attended college at Vanderbilt University, graduating magna cum laude with honors in Psychology. Dr. Gallaspy III obtained his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham.

He completed his OBGYN internship and residency programs at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. In residency, Dr. Gallaspy III was elected by his peers and faculty to serve as Administrative Chief Resident in charge of 40 resident physicians. During that time, he was also the recipient of the Golden Apple Award, recognizing superior teaching skills and contributions to medical education.

Dr. Gallaspy III is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association. In addition to his passion for obstetrics and infertility, Dr. Gallaspy III has a particular interest in minimally-invasive and robotic surgeries. He is a robotic surgery proctor, which allows him to teach robotic surgery to physicians across the country. In 2009, Dr. Gallaspy III was nominated and selected as the top 40 professionals under the age of 40.

After moving his growing family back to the gulf coast in 2008, Dr. Gallaspy III feels truly blessed to be able to practice medicine in his hometown. He and his wife, Jen, have been happily married since 2002. Their daughter, Stella, joined the family in 2007 followed by their son, Glenn “Todd” Gallaspy IV, in 2009. Outside of medicine, Dr. Gallaspy III enjoys running, hunting and fishing, but most of his free time these days is spent having fun with his wife and children.
