Dr. Maggie Krueger attended Texas A&M University and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. She then obtained her medical degree from the University of North Texas. Dr. Krueger then relocated to Mobile and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama. While in residency, she was elected Chief Resident and received many awards including Best Robotic Surgeon, Best Minimally Invasive Surgeon, Best Resident in Obstetrics, Best Resident in Gynecology, Best Resident in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Best Resident in Gynecologic Oncology, Intern of the Year, and Best Teaching Resident. Dr. Krueger’s obstetric research while in residency was awarded top prizes both locally and nationally and was published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Krueger has special interests in high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery. In addition she has a passion for adolescents and teenagers including teaching girls about safe sex practices, contraceptive options, and their gynecologic health. Dr. Krueger volunteers in our community by seeing uninsured patients at Victory Health Partners and is a volunteer adjunct faculty physician for the South Alabama medical students.
Dr. Krueger and her husband, Nik, have fallen in love with the Gulf Coast. Their interests include traveling, boating, and spending time with their two golden retrievers.
